Hatfield town centre is home to a hidden treasure for Welwyn-Hatfield residents seeking to learn new skills, keep their toddlers occupied (and themselves sane), or use the internet whilst enjoying a cup of tea. The Number 1 Hatfield Community Resource Centre, located along the Wellfield Road and end the of the Towncentre. 

1 Town Centre, provides a host of opportunities for enjoying life and achieving success at any of life's milestones. Whether you're 2 or 72 you are welcome to join in at the centre!

Our activities range from English, Toddler

Music and Art groups, various courses from Interior Design to Intermediate Computing, and volunteer opportunities. We provide meeting and crèche space for local businesses, agencies and community groups- a very unique thing to find in Hatfield town centre!

The centre was started in January 2003 and has become quite an attraction in Hatfield. Every year we see a new host of people becoming acquainted with the centre, finding it to be a great place to come relax and meet friends from around the town, new and old. Become a part of the life at Number 1- bring a book, a friend, some work, or absolutely nothing at all, and just treat yourself!
